on fire and lower part of her body burnt. Necroscopy showed face and
neck swollen as low as thyroid cartilage, and purple; eyes prominent
and congested; mouth closed; tongue not noticed; front of neck below
swollen part showed two dark-brown hard marks and slight marks also of
pressure; on incision the vessels were engorged. Blood, fluid; brain,
congested. There were no vesications from the burns and no sign of
inflammation.
